Our Mission

Go Naked Essentials is a local women-owned and operated candle company based in Mission, BC. Our mission is simple - to create high-quality, handcrafted candles that are good for you and the environment. We believe in clean, toxin-free products. That's why we create eco-friendly and sustainable candles made with natural coconut and soy waxes and infused with high-quality fragrance oils.

We take pride in our commitment to crafting each candle with care and attention to detail. Our candles are hand-poured in small batches to ensure the highest quality and freshness. We believe that our customers deserve the best, which is why we carefully select the finest ingredients to create candles that smell great and are safe for you and your home.

We are proud to be locally owned and operated, and we are grateful to be able to contribute to our community in Mission, BC. We hope our candles bring joy and relaxation into your home.

Meet the Team

Lisa Kirby - Owner/Operator/Maker


Go Naked Essentials was founded by Lisa Kirby after a major life change that allowed her to explore her creative side. After working as a child care provider for over 20 years Lisa began making  natural skincare products. Eventually, this evolved into candle making, which became her area of passion.

Go Naked Essentials is now Lisa’s full time job, supported by her family and friends.

Kaitlyn Kirby - Social Media Strategist/Creative Director

 

Kaitlyn Kirby is Lisa's youngest daughter and biggest supporter. Since 2020, Kaitlyn has managed Go Naked's creative direction, marketing strategy, and social media channels.

Between organizing photo shoots, creating content, and connecting with collaborators - Kaitlyn is always busy expressing her creative side.

Jensen Kirby - Website Coordinator


Jensen Kirby is Lisa's eldest daughter. After handing off the bulk of marketing and social media work to her sister Kaitlyn, Jensen now maintains our website and helps with other tasks as needed from her home in Victoria, B.C.

Lynn Wilcox - Accounting and Administration

Lynn does our accounting, supports with processing, and helps with pretty much everything else!

You can find us at markets around the Fraser Valley as well as in several retail stores including: Creekside Home Decor, Lush Salon, Tru Earth, Totally Bookish, Found Boutique, Creative Bookworm, Oak Bay Pharmasave and many of The Makers' multiple locations: North Vancouver, Richmond Town Centre, Gastown, Kitsilano, Metrotown Centre, Tsawwassen, Guildford Town Centre and Victoria.
